Angling is a visual contemporary artist based in Indonesia creating surrealistic paintings.

Angling’s work brings unconsciousness to life by visualizing the inner child which ultimately represents their pure mind and holiness. The artists characters are showcasing children that are facing emotions such as happiness, confusion, anger, or even sadness. Angling wants to unfold the reaction of adults by saying that when we react to things that happen in life we are mostly responding with the inner child that grows inside each of us.

Angling’s works are a reflection of his subconsciousness. His love for animes and mangas is easy to discover when facing his work of art which is also greatly inspired by artists such as Yoshimoto Nara, Liu Ye, and Ray Caesar
